Busy Busy Busy.......after a very successful 2009 start to handmadebyrowena I have been busy sourcing lots of yummy new yarns for this year's "collection". Many many thanks to those who encouraged me, patronised my market stalls or who personally shopped with me! I do sincerely hope that you have and will continue to, enjoy your Rowena scarves, wraps and throw rugs. Now of course it's down to work!
For the first part of 2010 I will be concentrating on scarves and wraps with the emphasis on three disctinct lines - scarves for everyday for both men and women, pure delight featuring luxury yarns with a designer feel, and the new Conara range. This last range features the glorious Wanstead Park English Leicester semi-worsted wool from Pip Baird's stud at Conara in Tasmanian's northern midlands. This beautiful wool combines with other pure Tassie baa baa and 'pacca or silk from Victoria to make superb accessories for you.
My Market outings are posted on this blog - love to see you! Drop by and say hello. :)
About this blog
A blog about the meanderings of a craft designer and hand maker living in a beautiful island at the end of the earth....I'm a weaver addicted to her little Ashford Knitters Loom, a crocheter, knitter, painter, gardener and grandma. Rowena lives in Tasmania - a world apart, not a world away!
